Conditions and concerns couples come to us for.
A couples-only practice in Pasadena, serving the greater Los Angeles area. We work with all of these — and most of what we sit with is layered, not one clean diagnosis.
Couples don't usually arrive with one clean diagnosis. Most of what we see is layered — the affair recovery is also a communication problem; the in-law conflict is also a money problem; the ADHD is also showing up as intimacy disconnection. The pages below are organized for findability, not because real couples fit one box. The first session helps us name what's actually present and what to work on first.
Every clinician here works exclusively with couples. We use Gottman Method, EFT, IBCT, Discernment Counseling, and PACT — chosen against what you're bringing in, not against what's currently in fashion. All major insurance accepted. Telehealth seven days a week across California; in-person from our Pasadena office for couples who want it.
When something has happened, and you're trying to figure out if and how to come back from it.
The couples we sit with most often arrive after a rupture — an affair, the discovery of a hidden behavior, the long aftermath of an addiction. The work is structured trust repair, not "moving on."
The fights that aren't dramatic but happen every Tuesday at 10pm.
Most couples wait years before booking these. That waiting is part of why they get stuck. The pattern doesn't dissolve on its own — but it can get a different shape.
The intimacy you've drifted out of, the wedding you're walking toward, the family that's testing the marriage.
Connection-coded work — sometimes hopeful, sometimes hard, often both. The frame is the same: the relationship is the client.
You don't have to figure this out alone.
If something here matches what you're carrying — or if nothing quite does — reach out. We'll tell you honestly whether we're a fit.
